1. Look at the graph with two lines. The horizontal line shows the pitch of sounds, from low to high. The vertical line shows how loud the sounds are, from soft to loud.
2. The symbols on the graph represent the softest sounds you can hear for different pitches.
3. If the symbols are near the top, your hearing is good. If they're lower, your hearing might not be as good.
4. If the symbols are in the -10 dB to 25 dB range, your hearing is normal. If they're below that, you might have some hearing loss.
